Currently such arrangements are working satisfactorily with N.M. Medical at Bandra for patients from western suburbs, Chitra Scan at Dadar for patients in central Mumbai, Bhatia Hospital and N.M. Medical Chowpatty for patients from south Mumbai.

It was always the ambition of the Trust to provide inpatient and surgical services to its patients at affordable costs. With this in view, the Trust has made arrangements for hospitalization and conducting surgeries where required with nursing homes in the vicinity. Kashyap Nursing Home at Dadar T.T. and Royal Nursing Home at Kurla(w) are some of the places where the Trust's Panel surgeons can carry out Mini, Minor and Intermediate surgeries at extremely affordable costs for the benefit of the needy.

Angiographies at Rs. 8,100/- and Angioplasties at less than a lakh of rupees depending on the nature and make of the stent are carried out by city's renowned cardiologists on the Panel at reputed hospitals under a special arrangement with the Trust.

Cataract Operations: With the finalization of an arrangement for doing Cataract Operations, the Trust's long cherished dream has seen fruition. The Trust has worked out an understanding with one of the Panel Ophthalmic Surgeons to conduct Cataract Operations in his private theatre situated close to the Medical Centre and many patients have successfully been operated at the rates finalized by the Trust. A Cataract Operation on one eye costs Rs. 3600/- with Indian lens & Rs. 4600/- with imported lens.

Donor's Haven: The Trust has been receiving donations from time to time from liberal individuals who desired to donate for a worthy cause. K.P. The Centre works on Sundays between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon for this extraordinary public service entirely free of charge irrespective of caste, creed or religion. With post natal baby care having progressed in leaps and bounds in the country, the Trust wished to keep pace in this area too. As the planning was on, a donor arrived to take the bill and Smt. Sitabai Rama Nayak Memorial Well-Baby Clinic was established. A child registered under this clinic would be taken care of for the first five year period of its life, considered the most important time for a newborn. This is the period of a child's physical and mental growth and insufficient dietary needs may result in some kind of permanent damage to the psyche of the child. The Well Baby clinic endeavours to fulfill this specific need of a child. Every child covered by it would be examined thirty times during the 5 year period by Centres' Pediatricians. The child is immunized with BCG, 3 primary Triple and polio doses with 2 Boosters as well as Measles and MMR vaccines. In recent years Hepatitis B immunization has been included with 3 doses. There are ENT, Eye and Dental check ups at required intervals apart from regular examination by a Pediatrician. Free advice on general hygiene, child health, myths and misconceptions in child care, family planning, lactation, first aid, prevention of accidents etc. are given without obligation. All that costs a family is Rs. 400/- down payment and the child is protected by a health security net. The Registration is done on the first Sunday of every month from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Supply of free drugs: In order to fulfill one of its avowed objectives, the Trust instituted a free drug fund came in to being after one of its early stalwarts who had devoted a great deal of time and effort to bring up the Trust. Thus the K.K. Kamath Memorial Free Drug Fund came into being. The objective was to reach out to those at the lowest rung of the economic ladder and suffering from the deadly tuberculosis. A number of people below the poverty line have greatly benefited by receiving free drugs for the entire duration of drug therapy for this disease once considered dangerous to life.

Welfare and other activities: As an adjunct to its main activities of diagnostics, the Trust's Centres also maintain a number of medical accessory equipment such as Fowler's Cot, Water Beds, Oxygen Cylinders, Wheel Chairs, Commode Chairs, Bed Pans and Walkers & Walking crutches. They are given on loan to the needy patients at very nominal monthly rentals to enable the user to retain them for periods as long as they desire.

Free and subsidized check-up camps are held from time to time at one of the Centres of the Trust. Such camps are normally popular and are frequented by a lot of needy people.

As part of its annual fare, the Trust holds an annual contest called "The Healthy Baby Contest". The main thrust of this contest is to create awareness of promoting `child health'. This annual contest is held amidst a lot of fanfare at the time of Ganeshotsav celebrations at the Dwarakanath Hall of Ram Mandir Wadala, Mumbai. M/s. Indoco Ltd who have been in the forefront in the manufacture of paediatric medicines have been the sponsors of this for over a decade now. Literature connected with child health is distributed by sponsors along with free doles of tonics to the participating babies.

CME Seminars: The objective of keeping abreast with fast evolving medical science and technology has been enshrined in the Trust Deed. In line with this, the Trust holds CME seminars to promote awareness and health consciousness. The Panel Consultants are encouraged to attend such seminars to remain abreast with latest development in medicine and pharmacology. The other aim of such seminars is to promote familiarity among the panel Consultants and improve on inter-referrals between Consultants. The seminars are normally lightened with an entertainment program and a meal.
